How do the drills work?

NoteTrail shows you a note on the staff; you answer on the on-screen keys (or your real piano in Real Piano mode). Behind the scenes a spaced-repetition engine schedules every note you've met — the ones you hesitate on come back sooner, the ones you know arrive just before you'd forget them. Miss a note mid-session and it returns until you clear it.

Real Piano mode isn't hearing my piano

• Check the mic permission: iOS Settings → NoteTrail → Microphone.
• Play single notes, clearly, in a quiet room — sustained chords and heavy pedal blur the pitch detector.
• Very fast repeated notes can merge; let each note ring for a beat.
• Works with acoustic and digital pianos (through speakers — headphones keep the sound out of the mic's reach).

Subscriptions & purchases

• What's free: treble-clef drills, streaks, quests, and basic stats — forever.
• NoteTrail Pro ($4.99/month or $29.99/year, 7-day free trial) unlocks bass clef, Real Piano mode, intervals, and full stats.
• Cancel: App Store → your profile → Subscriptions → NoteTrail. Cancelling keeps Pro until the period ends.
• Restore: NoteTrail Settings → Restore Purchases (same Apple ID).
• Refunds are handled by Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com.

My streak reset — can I get it back?

Streak freezes protect a single missed day automatically (you earn one per 7-day run, and one for clearing all three daily quests). If something looks genuinely wrong, email us with what happened.
